INCLUSIVITY

IS KEY

Black Arabs In AI

In a rapidly evolving digital world, it is essential to ensure that the voices and experiences of all communities are represented. Our space serves as a platform to advocate for the inclusion of Black Arabs in AI algorithms and the broader AI landscape. Through thought-provoking articles, data collection, and critical analysis, we aim to highlight the importance of diverse representation in shaping the future of artificial intelligence.

Our platform is dedicated to sparking conversations, challenging biases, and ultimately driving change within the tech, political, and academic spheres. Whether you’re a policy maker, tech innovator, or academic researcher, we invite you to join us in the movement towards a more inclusive and equitable AI future.

Named by the French term béton brut, or brute concrete, Brutalism became popular in the post-WWII era, when the need for affordable housing and public buildings led to the widespread use of concrete.

FOR AN INCLUSIVE AND ETHICAL AI

Our Mission

At [Your Blog Name], we believe that AI systems should reflect the diversity of the world they serve. Yet, Black Arabs remain largely invisible in AI algorithms, a gap that risks perpetuating biases and inequalities in technology.

Our mission is clear: we aim to amplify the presence and contributions of Black Arabs in AI research, design, and implementation. Through this platform, we publish articles that not only advocate for change but also gather insights and data to fuel this critical conversation. We seek to engage with decision-makers, scholars, tech professionals, and organizations to create a more inclusive future for all.

Why Inclusion in AI Matters

Artificial intelligence is transforming the world around us, from healthcare to education, from employment to governance. However, for AI to work for everyone, it must be built with the diverse perspectives that represent our global society.

Black Arabs, a community that is both culturally rich and technologically savvy, are often left out of these conversations. This exclusion can result in algorithms that are biased and systems that do not meet the needs of all people.

At Black Arabs In AI, we believe that true progress in AI can only be achieved when all voices are heard. Through our research and advocacy, we aim to change the narrative and ensure that Black Arabs are not just participants but leaders in the AI revolution.

data

Our first mission is to ensure new technological tools include data. Black groups found in the Arab world are still unknown to the non-Arab world. Through the collection of data, this platform will help share new knowledge to the right institutions.

COLLECTING

We work on the field to collect our data. Our platform focuses on authenticity through the exploitation fo various forms of preservation. Also, academic works published in colleges, and schools are more than beneficial to us.

ETHIC

With the emergence of new AI tools, our goal is to make sure that ethical processes are respected. We also wish to make sure that all the black populations found in the MENA region are properly represented and included.

INCLUSIVITY TO FIGHT AGAINST EXCLUSION

AI should be a safe space where all groups are remembered, celebrated, and known.
